It was initially launched for the DQ250 gearbox, which is installed in around five million vehicles across Europe, including 1.2 million vehicles on German roads alone.<br>Until now, when the original clutch failed, workshops and vehicle owners had no alternative but to purchase a brand-new replacement part costing more than €600, excluding labor. Valeo’s reman solution directly addresses this issue, offering workshops and end users an average cost reduction of 25% compared with a new part.<br>What makes this achievement an even greater technical milestone is that Valeo reverse-engineered a non-Valeo technology, developing a restoration process for a highly complex system it did not originally design</p><h2><br>Combining Performance with a Lower Environmental Impact&nbsp;</h2><p>The remanufactured dual wet clutch delivers the same quality and performance as a new OE part while offering a lower environmental impact. It is used to monitor and optimize the performance of the exhaust aftertreatment system.<br>The combustion in vehicles produces Nitric oxide (NO), which converts into Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) when mixed with oxygen (O) at high temperatures. NO₂ is a harmful air pollutant.<br>NOx sensor works in combination with the (SCR) system to reduce the influence of NO₂ pollution.&nbsp;</p><h2><br><strong>Technology Designed for Performance and Durability</strong></h2><p>Valeo NOx sensors have been developed with particular attention to resistance to engine vibrations and high temperatures. These characteristics guarantee optimal performance, even in demanding operating conditions a critical requirement given the extreme environment in which exhaust aftertreatment components must function.<br><br>Compatible with Euro 6 vehicle applications, they are a key component of exhaust gas management systems. Euro 6 vehicles have at least one NOx sensor, before and after the SCR catalytic. As global emissions regulations continue to tighten, the need for sensors that can keep pace with increasingly strict standards has never been greater. Valeo’s engineering expertise ensures this new range is not only compliant today, but built with the future in mind.&nbsp;</p><h2><br><strong>How the NOx Sensor System Operates</strong></h2><p>The upstream NOx sensor continuously monitors the NOx content of the exhaust gas and sends a signal to the Engine Control Unit (ECU). The ECU then calculates the precise urea dose required to neutralise the NOx within the SCR catalyst. The urea injector sprays this calculated amount into the hot exhaust stream, triggering a chemical reaction that converts NOx into harmless nitrogen and water.<br><br>A downstream NOx sensor verifies the efficiency of this SCR reaction by measuring NOx concentration after the catalyst, allowing the ECU to adjust urea dosing in real time and maintain emissions within regulatory limits. In some applications, a single NOx sensor positioned after the SCR catalyst may be used.</p><h2><br><strong>Road-Tested for Real-World Reliability</strong></h2><p>Valeo NOx sensors are road-tested during 700 hours according to real driving situations to validate the reliability of the sensors. <p>From April 8 to 10, 2025, Valeo took part in Rematec, the world's largest automotive remanufacturing exhibition, held at RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands.</p>
<p>In addition to launching new parts, Valeo won the Public Choice Award for Best Reman, after emerging as the clear winner with a total of 2,057 votes.</p>
<p>The public’s choice award was fully supported by the 2025 Rematec jury, who recognized Valeo as both “a major automotive parts manufacturer and a key player in the aftermarket.” </p>

<h2>Partnering with Industry Leaders on New Products</h2>
<p>Valeo is now extending its offer to include the remanufacturing of high voltage and electronic parts. </p>
<p>During the week, Valeo presented what is one of the largest ranges of remanufactured products on the market. This included launching three new high-tech reman parts:</p>
<ul><li>In collaboration with Stellantis, Valeo is launching in the first semester of 2025 a remanufactured LED headlamp—the first of its kind from Valeo—along with a display screen developed at Valeo’s Circular Electronics Lab in Nevers, France.</li>
