Valeo wins three prizes at the 2022 Automobile Awards
For this 5th edition of the Automobile Awards, organized by the French company Motul & LR66 in partnership with French media Paris Match, 20 prizes were awarded to car and equipment manufacturers, 3 of them to Valeo.
Valeo received not less than 3 prizes for this 2022 Edition
Marc Vrecko, President of Comfort and Driving Assistance Systems Business Group, and Michel Forissier, Group Chief Engineering & Marketing Officer, attended the awards ceremony held on December 8th at the Automobile Club de France in Paris.
In the context of the biggest transformation in the history of the automobile industry, the Automobile Awards shine their spotlight, in particular, on those who materialize their desire to reduce their carbon footprint.
After receiving 2 prizes at the Automobile Awards in 2021 - for its LiDAR technology and its own innovative charging stations, Valeo received not less than 3 prizes for this 2022 edition.
Equipment of the year for Valeo Scala 3, third generation LiDAR
The Valeo SCALA 3 LiDAR will enable vehicles to be certified for level 3 automation, allowing drivers to safely take their hands off the steering wheel and their eyes off the road. This third-generation LiDAR sees everything, even when an object is far ahead, invisible to the human eye, and more than 150 meters ahead.
