What Is a Fuel Injector?

 

The fuel injector, delivers fuel to the engine. 

Fuel injectors connect to the engine rail, but their valves remain closed until the Engine Control Unit (ECU) sends the fuel into the cylinders. 

Fuel injector is composed of three main elements : the nozzle, the coil and solenoid and the body.
