Valeo’s training offer, launched in July 2024 by Valeo’s Aftermarket Activity, is steadily gaining the trust of workshop professionals and industry experts, as demonstrated by its IMI nomination for 'International Partner of the Year 2025”.

What Is Valeo Tech Academy? 

Whether just starting out on traditional technologies or looking to develop knowledge in the latest technologies like Electric & Hybrid Vehicles or ADAS, Valeo Tech Academy is the workshop’s gateway to IMI certified expertise.

Valeo Tech Academy’s stated aim is to empower professionals to deal with the reality of today’s car diagnostic, repair and maintenance through both online and face-to-face training.

Valeo Tech Academy - Online Modules

Valeo Tech Academy’s online training is provided in an in-depth, flexible modular format. The program includes:

·  45 hours focused on the maintenance and repair of modern automotive technologies

·  50 hours dedicated to Electric and Hybrid Vehicles—covering safety, diagnostics, and troubleshooting

·  25 hours on Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Training is delivered through short sessions, ranging from 5 to 30 minutes, enabling learners to study at their convenience. The program features both prior and post assessments to track skill progression.

Valeo Tech Academy - Face to Face Sessions 

Valeo Tech Academy also provides in-person training sessions on ADAS and Electrified Vehicles.

Utilizing advanced simulators, these hands-on sessions immerse participants in over 150 real-life repair scenarios, offering extensive practical experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models, to deepen their expertise and skills.

Customer Focused Training 

Since September 2024, the Valeo Tech Academy online training platform has received outstanding feedback from mechanics in several countries, as evidenced by a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 66. Furthermore, approximately 90% of participating mechanics rated their experience at least 4,9 out of 5.

As for those who attended the face-to-face sessions, they gave them an impressive rating of 9.2 out of 10.
