Under regulations proposed by the European Government, by 4th July 2010 companies dealing with F-gases MUST have appropriately qualified personnel. If you are directly involved with the recovery or handling of fluorinated gases including R134a, you will not be able to purchase F-gases after July 4th 2010 without certified personnel at your workshop.




eXponentia offers the IMIAL Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigerant Handling (EC842-2006) (QCF). This qualification is approved by DEFRA and is issued by IMI awards.

The qualification is valid for life and does not have to be renewed.

The assessment consists on two elements: practical assessment in the workshop and IMI Awards test.

All eXponentia sessions are aimed at technicians with already proven working experience and are not suitable for the apprentice level.
