Guideo™, is a camera system that scans the road and permanently supervises all four driving assistance functions.

Practical, it helps in:

· reducing the risk of leaving the road or of accidents often caused by drivers' distrction

· allowing drivers to correct their trajectory and avoiding a collision

· helping to reconstruct the circumstances if an accident does occur

The guideo™ system has a built in camera module which permanently scans the road and supervises all four of guideo’s™ driving assistance functions:

-Lane alert: warns the driver when he crosses a white line without indicating, preventing the car leaving the road and cutting the risk of accidents, especially in the event of sudden drowsiness during long journeys.

-Optilane: helps you to stick to your trajectory by alerting you to any involuntary diversion caused by a distraction such as instrument adjustments, radio settings etc.

- Video box: films the road and in the event of a sudden acceleration or loss of speed associated with an accident, the circumstances of the accident are recorded

-Beep&watch: alerts you to any movement in front of your vehicle and is particularly useful in traffic jams and at lights, when the vehicle in front has moved forward

The four functions are housed in the camera module, facing the road. The camera is positioned underneath the central rear view mirror inside the cabin, without distrubing the driver's field of vision.




The system starts up automatically as soon as the vehicle moves off and then scans the road constantly, even in low light levels (1 lux).

A pre-recorded voice explains the initial settings, then delivers a number of voice messages relating to the four fucntions, guiding the driver throughout the journey.

In addition to the voice messages, visual signals appear at the back of the camera unit, informing the driver of the activation of functions during the journey.

All guideo™ functions can be easily configured or switched off using the remote control.






The camera module is removable to prevent any risk of theft. Finally, to encourage drivers to make regular breaks during long journeys guideo™ shows the journey times hour by hour.
