Leading aftermarket component supplier, Valeo Service UK, has extended its Compact Evolution line of Flat blade wipers with the introduction of the X1 range.


The X1 range is an upgrade to the popular Compact Evolution line and offers better car parc coverage and an optimised 85 percent coverage rate. Designed for vehicles originally equipped with Flat Blades, Compact Evolution X1 blades are competitively priced and feature an advanced, streamlined design with end clips and four different adaptors for ease of fitting. Over 1000 pressure points are positioned across the length of the blade, alongside an integrated spoiler, which improves wiping performance.

Sharna Russell, Product Manager at Valeo Service UK, explains: 'Eight out of ten vehicles are now equipped with Flat Blades and we wanted to offer a line that was advanced yet cost effective. Compact Evolution X1 blades match the performance of traditional OE Flat Blades but with a much simpler design ad a higher coverage rate. It is a cost effective solution for upgrading or replacing existing Flat Blades and is high performing, especially in extreme weather conditions as the multiple pressure points prevent the blade sticking to the windscreen.'

There are 17 specific Compact Evolution kits available for right hand drive applications. A new 2011-2012 product catalogue, Compact 2011 (part no. 953139), has also been introduced and includes product details and fitting instructions.

Compact Evolution X1 is part of the popular Compact range of wiper bladesby Valeo Service UK, which also features the Compact Revolution line of flat blades that have been designed to replace conventional wiper blades with advanced Flat Blade technology.
